Lamborghini shopping…well, browsing!

Those who know me are aware of my love of Lamborghini’s and one of my goals is to one day own one. When I found out there was a Lamborghini dealership coming to Bristol I just had to go and visit.

This new centre is Rybrook Specialist Cars. They have dealerships for Bentley, BMW, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, McLaren, Mini, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Volvo, and also have used vehicles from a number of other brands.

I did a quick search to find the address of the new site and made my way over. Parked up outside the Lamborghini frontage, (in my rather embarrassingly filthy van), and headed on in.

Now, I was expecting a small showroom holding around 3-4 cars with a couple of offices to one side where all the sales a discussed, but as we went through the main doors the size of the place becomes apparent. A main corridor with each branded dealership behind glass doors – like a mini shopping mall, but for cars!

Main corridor with reception.

We both head to the reception desk and politely ask if we could have a look around the Lamborghinis, “Absolutely, no problem”. The lady went on to explain what else was there. And with an excited spring in my step into the Lamborghini room we go.

From left to right: Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, Huracan, Huracan LP610-4 and an Aventador LP750-4 Super-Veloce Roadster. My embarrassingly filthy van in the background!

The current flagship Lamborghini is the Aventador Super-Veloce Roadster and to be in the room with one with the satin finish on the bodywork is very impressive. Just standing still it looks like it means business. If you are interested, as I type this it is available to buy at a mere £524,849.00.

Despite knowing we wouldn’t be leaving with a Lamborghini or even placing an order we did have a discussion on what colour brake calipers we would have!

Upstairs are a selection of the used cars available. This included a Range Rover, Mercedes C63, a couple of Audi R8’s, an Aston Martin DB9 and a couple of Porsche. They also had couple of Ferrari Californias’, which happens to be one of the cars on my wife’s wish list!

At the end of the main corridor is the service centre and although it is staff only, you can see everything going on. A brand new Bentley being I assumed PDI checked ready to be registered, and a couple of Mclarens’ being serviced. Again though, the real treat is the Yellow Aventador Super-Veloce on the ramp. Two SV’s in the same building…to say I was happy is an understatement.

After a brief chat with some of the staff, we ran out of time and had to head on back. However, I intend to go back and now I know how much is there I will make sure I allow plenty of time.

Thank you to the staff at Rybrook Bristol for the welcoming me and my son, and for allowing us to freely wander around viewing the cars!
